Not a lot beats blackerry ice cream!

The blackberry's are out in force this year - we've been picking about three times already. The primary reason is to make some home-made blackberry ice-cream. We discovered a recipe about three years ago, and now eagerly await the blackberry season each year.

Here's the evidence that this ice cream tastes yummy....... (and does not last very long in our house!)

BTW did you know that blackberries freeze really well - they are great for an out of season treat, just be sure to wash them really well and freeze on the day of picking.
