Herbie the kitten mistook the magazine rack for his litter tray.
Magazine rack, linen, in the bin.
Magazines, catalogues, papers, design file...... in the bin.
Kitten. In the dog house (not literally)

oh no! when I read that you were getting a kitten I was very envious but now not so much ;)
The rat thing was awful too!
